sorry guys i mean .sf2
0 seeders?
Maybe I am confused but don't you have to have seeders for a torrent to work?
Stuck at 87.6% Amazing w no seed but not any good in the long run is it?
sorry, I had to reformat my machine so that is why it stopped seeding--sorry i didn't notice that it wasn't finished either. I think seeeding statistics are changing now. If not then... if you would please cue mein as to how I can "reseed" something, thanks.
How would I use this with FL Studio? I know that it is sf2 format, but it's only one file... usually they are only a couple of megabits or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@ dannyboy2486: Soundfont technology is usually a set of samples pu together all in one file. For the convenience of some of us, there are gm sound fonts (those that have each patch assigned to the standards for the general midi) and others are just an instrument (a trumpet, or a specific violin). Soundfonts for specific instruments may vary in size, although they are indeed much shorter than this soundfont (because this soundfont contains the entire GM bank: Piano, strings, woodwind, drum kits, sound effects, brass, ETC). Also it depends a lot on t he quality of the samples too. Some sound fonts might havea really nice sound for only one instrument, yet they weigh 10 mb or so. A more robust soundfont tends to be larger. This soundfont gets pretty damn close to reality and is extremely hard to come by on most file sharing networks. As for specific usage with fl studio i might not be sure about what to say, since i don't use it myself. You should also keep in mind that some soundcards come with the samples already into the soundcard. Soundfonts are created to make the samples more organized or customize a certain order for someone. These soundfonts pose a disadvantage to those that do not have these soundcards. Thus, the soundfont is said to contain "rom samples" (samples extracted from the soundcard itself). Even if you did have the required soundcard though, some programs are not able to know where these samples are stored so that they can be used, however. To use a soundfont you wuould usually have a midi file or any other of audio generator and sample each note to a wave or audio file so that you can render midis that way. You'd just load your midi file, then assign the same soundfont to all the tracks (if desired) and then process the rendering.
Thank you for your quick reply. I used to have the Sound Blaster live 24 bit, but I let someone borrow it. I may have to snatch that back. Your answer was very good. Thanks again.
Please seed. I'm barely getting any download rate and it's 73% done. Thanks.
aww thanks for possitive rating :D
I wish I had SHDSL but I only got ADSL, so it it will be hard to reseed this great torrent....

Thank you non the less!
I have been trying this soundfont out a lot now, and comparing it to the fluid soundfont which is free. And although the crisis one has some problems about its different instruments levels, its sound quality is completely astounding! It actually sound like many of the instruments are real!!!

So again, thank you!
awesome knowing the positive feedback. Still uploading and seeding.. with love !
just tested the torrent and it would take some while for the seeding to begin but i'll keep seeding none the less.. with love
Hey UltraLeetJ, I'll finally come out of the woodwork after knowing about this for a couple years. I don't appreciate you posting my alteration of Chris "Crisis" Maricourt's bank without telling anyone here about it, what it is, etc. I made this one to work within the confines of the Audigy+XP's 320MB memory limit with dynamic instrument loading, and as such is missing a bit. You probably grabbed it from my old public share on eD2K while the original was right next to it. The original is much better. For the Real Crisis SF2, which is still free, visit the author's page at www.bismutnetwork.com ...Shame on you for misleading the people, failure to maintain compression and what-not, and good day.
